Beginning 1 February, purchase and reload of Touch n' Go cards can be done at Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong ( LDP) at Petaling Jaya Selatan Toll Lay-by ( North Bound- near the Esso Station ) and at SPRINT at the Bukit Kiara Toll Plaza ( KL-bound)
The Touch N' Go Point of Sales centres saw the soft opening by Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia director general Dato' Ir Ismail Md Salleh accompanied by concessionaire Lingkaran Trans Kota Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer Sazally Saidi.
Also present at the opening was Touch n' Go Managing Director Hasni Zarina Mohamed Khan.
Sazally, in a statement said the opening of the dedicated counters was a doubled-pronged approach towards achieving two main objectives, first to get closer to the road users and second, to increase ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) usage on both highways.
" We now have the ETC penetration 48 % on LDP and 60 % on SPRINT and we would like to see at least a 20% increase in these figures for this year, as ultimately the flow at the toll plaza will improve with more people using the electronic lanes", Sazally said.
The Touch n' Go Point of Sales centres will be opened from Monday to Thursday from 8.30 am until 4.30 pm while on Friday the opening hours will be from 8.30 am until 5.15 pm.
