	Dato' Ir Chew Swee Hock Malaysian Independent Non-Executive Director

Dato' Ir Chew Swee Hock graduated from University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Degree in 1966. He is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia; a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia; member of the Road Engineering Association, Malaysia; member of the Institution of Highway and Transportation, United Kingdom; and member of the Road Engineering Association of Asia and Australasia. He had worked as an Engineer in the Public Works Department, Malaysia since graduation and the last post held was the Director-General of the Malaysian Highway Authority. In 1995 he optionally retired from public service to work as a freelance consultant.

Dato' Ir Chew Swee Hock was appointed to the Board of Directors on 1 August 1996. He also serves as a member of the Audit Committee of the Company. He attended all of the four Board of Directors' Meetings held during the financial year ended 31 March 2008.

He does not have any family relationship with any director and/or major shareholder of the Company and has no conflict of interest with the Company.

He is also a director of Lysaght Galvanized Steel Berhad.
